Добрый день.
Хочу сказать сразу что c Novell не знаком. Устроился на работу и даже не знал что в одном из офисов стоит Novell. Так вот, на медне выключил сервак по инструкции который оставил старый админ, а после праздника пришел и запустить не могу, точнее выдает ошибку при загрузке dsloader.nlm и не открывается база nds. Соответственно никто войти не может. Такое впечатление что её вообще нету. Скажите пожайлуста, что делать, с чего начинать и что смотреть.

Запустить dsrepair А вообще-то жениться вам барин надо, то есть учиться. Ну и заодно разобраться, кто вам таку бяку устроил.

и книжки читать и учиться теперь конечно буду, но сейчас как спасти ситуацию ? dsrepair говорит что неа.... немогу поскольку база не открыта

начни с простого - скажи на консоле сервера version и volume покажи сюда результаты.

Если сервер не 1 в реплике можно базу локальную пересоздать.
Но можно и попробовать полечить с помощью dsrepair
Смотря как упало. Уеня был случай с ошибкой
ERROR: Insufficient disk space or missing files, Error: -795
сделать:
unload ds
load ds
dsrepair -av -> unattended full repair
Но это только если мои телепатические способности сработали.

версия 5.0, тома sys и data

сервер один и копий nds не делалось. А можно попробовать заново проинсталировать nds ? Пользовательская информация не пропадет ?

Файлы - нет. А вот разрешения, да и вообще все связанное с NDS (юзеры, пароли) - умрет.
Так что стараемся таки лечить. И все сообщения цитируем полно и точно, включая количество пробелов и переносы строк.

удалить nds тоже не дает... вылетает в 663 ошибку
