Вопрос по FTP (NW5.1)

Уважаемые коллеги!
Возникла следующая проблема:
есть account с network address restriction (несколько IPX-адресов).
Однако, практика показала, что по этому account'у по FTP можно зайти откуда угодно, как ни в чем не бывало.
Отсюда вопросы:
1. Можно ли сделать так, чтобы network address restriction распространялось и на FTP (соответственно, в случае, если IP-адреса не указаны вообще, то не давать FTP-доступ никому).
2. Если п.1 не выполним, то можно ли какому-то аccount'у полностью закрыть доступ по FTP?

P.S. Используется стандартный FTP server NWFTPD.NLM

Пишем в SYS:ETC/FTPSERV.CFG

RESTRICT_FILE = sys:/etc/ftprest.txt

Содержание ftprest.txt:

# This file contains the restrict ftile format for FTPserver.

# The access rights permitted are
# DENY - Deny access to FTPserver for that client.

система достаточно гибкая....

Просветите, заодно, мою дремучесть - а что за файлы такие с расширением *.u8, одноименные log-файлам?
