Столкнулся с проблемой связаной с GWIA 7.1 Периодически через него начинается несанкционированный relay в большом количестве.
Выглядит это следующим образом. В каталог RECEIVE попадают письма, предназначенные большому кол-ву получателей, и затем GWIA готовит и пытается отправить письма всем этим получателям. За несколько часов таких писем может набраться несколько десятков тысяч. От этой проблемы эффективно защищает "Reject Mail if Sender's Identity Cannot Be Verified". Однако в этом случае есть проблема с получением писем от ряда клиентов, которые не очень понимают что такое PTR-запись и т.д.
Сталкивался ли кто-нибудь с такой проблемой?

Из интернета приходят письма для внутренних пользователей? Или со стороны интернета приходят письма для внешних пользователей?

Разрешите отправку писем только внутренним GW пользователям.

в том то и дело, что релей запрещен. В логе вижу, что меня валит конкретный SMTP. Примерно 20000 сесий за 2 часа. Но ничего у него не получается. Но спустя какое-то время появляется этот relay. Если убить GWIA, почистить SEND, RESULT и т.д. и запустить GWIA - какое-то время все нормально... Такое впечатление, что есть какая-то дырка и этот SMTP ее иногда находит. Причем если явно блокирую один IP, начинают мочить с другого...

Всё-таки для начала проверьтесь на открытый релэй каким-нибудь онлайн сервисом. Или telnet ом подключитесь и отправьте письмо на внешний адрес без авторизации.

Пароль подбирают ?

это я проверял -не проходит. Я даже писал многопоточную молотилку - типа закидать его - тоже не проходит...

Пароль подбирают ?

Возможно подобрали пароль к одной из учетных записей и с помощью неё авторизуются.
Попробуйте включить максимальную детализацию логов и проверить это.

желательно обновить GW до последней версии. Может баг старый какой...

У меня для GWIA POP3 и IMAP4 отключены. А как они могут авторизироваться?
Обновлюсь в ближайшее время - может завтра.

Как-то не копался, но думаю у SMTP есть собственная авторизация помимо "pop3 first"

вот собственно лог момента, когда начинается проблема. Включу сегодня полный лог... Тут еще проблема, что они не непрерывно колбасят, а иногда пропадают на несколько дней... Я уже пару раз думал, что поборол их...

непонятно. Надо включить уровень детализации логов verbose, а возможно и Diagnostic
правда в последнем случае будет тяжелее читать логи.

GW обновили до актуальной версии?
